THERAPIST | LMSW
Kevyn Rodriguez
Hi, I'm Kevyn Rodriguez (he/him), a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a degree from Fordham University. I am passionate about helping people navigate through life's challenges, whether it's dealing with anxiety, depression, major life changes, or LGBTQ+ issues. Some of these include coming out, gender transitioning, or identity exploration. I also enjoy working with couples and individuals in “non-traditional” relationships, with a focus on relationship dynamics, intimacy, kinks, and polyamory.
My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and judgment-free, where you can be your true self. I'm committed to being LGBTQ+ supportive, sex-positive, and culturally sensitive, helping you build coping skills and fostering emotional growth.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, each with unique stories and backgrounds. My approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to understand and support you in whatever you are going through. I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and mutual respect. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to tailor my approach to your unique needs.
